Voodoo Curv by Rigging Innovations Complete Skydiving Rig – Premium Performance Container with Aerodyne Smart 150 Reserve

Reliable Performance, Comfort, and Advanced Rigging Features

Designed for experienced skydivers who appreciate a combination of comfort, modern features, and proven performance, the Voodoo Curv by Rigging Innovations is a high-quality container system that has been carefully maintained and professionally inspected. This complete skydiving rig offers an excellent opportunity for jumpers looking for a reliable setup with premium options, including matching red emergency handles, mesh back padding, and magnetic riser covers.

The container’s date of manufacture (DOM) is October 2018, and it has been configured to provide excellent comfort and functionality for an average-sized jumper. Furthermore, the ergonomic design, lightweight construction, and refined fit make it a practical choice for recreational jumpers who want a dependable rig that performs exceptionally well during everyday operations.

Originally configured around a 150 main canopy, the container has been designed with flexibility in mind. It can comfortably accommodate a range of canopy sizes, including approximately a 170 main canopy down to a 135, while smaller cross-braced canopies around the 120 size range may also be suitable depending on specific canopy dimensions and packing volume.

Premium Voodoo Curv Container Features

The Voodoo Curv by Rigging Innovations has been equipped with several desirable upgrades that improve both comfort and usability. These enhancements provide additional convenience while maintaining the clean, professional appearance expected from a modern skydiving container.

Key Features Included:

• Rigging Innovations Voodoo Curv container
• DOM: October 2018
• Matching red emergency handles
• Mesh back padding for improved airflow and comfort
• Magnetic riser covers for secure and streamlined operation
• Main risers included
• Pilot chute included
• D-bag included
• Original configuration designed around a 150 main canopy
• Compatible with approximately 135–170 main canopies depending on canopy model and packing volume
• Suitable for some smaller cross-braced canopies

Additionally, the container has been designed around real-world comfort requirements. The recommended fit range is approximately 5’5” to 5’10” with a body weight range around 140–180 lbs. Although fit can vary depending on body proportions, harness adjustments, and personal preference, this configuration has been proven comfortable for athletic-built jumpers within this range.

Comfortable Fit and Jumper Profile

A proper harness fit is essential for both comfort and control during every skydive. This Voodoo Curv was previously owned by an athletic-built jumper measuring approximately 5’10”, who found the container to be at the upper end of its comfortable range.

Therefore, this rig is best suited for jumpers closer to the recommended sizing range rather than significantly larger body frames. The previous owner’s experience demonstrates the practical fit limitations while also confirming the excellent ergonomics of the system for appropriately sized users.

The current owner considered keeping this rig because of its attractive color combination, comfortable fit, and overall performance. However, it is being offered because the owner’s larger build (approximately 6’2” and 195 lbs) places him beyond the ideal sizing range.

Aerodyne Smart 150 Reserve Canopy Included

Safety and reliability are supported by the included Aerodyne Smart 150 reserve canopy. This reserve system provides dependable performance and has been maintained according to standard reserve packing requirements.

The reserve canopy features:

• Manufacturer: Aerodyne
• Model: Smart 150
• DOM: May 2018
• Two documented rides
• Six documented reserve pack jobs since 2022 according to the available card information

The Smart series has been widely recognized for its predictable flight characteristics and reliable deployment performance. As a result, it remains a popular choice among skydivers seeking a trusted reserve canopy option.

Advanced AAD Protection System

An automatic activation device has also been installed on this complete rig, providing an additional layer of safety equipment for the jumper.

The AAD details include:

• DOM: 2015
• 10-year service completed
• Service life valid until March 2035
• Total jumps: approximately 525
• One recorded save

Because the required service has already been completed, the unit is positioned for continued use within its approved service period. The AAD installation adds valuable confidence for jumpers who prioritize modern safety equipment in their complete rig setup.

Complete Rig Package Ready for Future Use

This listing includes the essential components required for a complete skydiving setup. The buyer receives a fully assembled system rather than only a container, making it an excellent option for jumpers searching for a ready-to-use configuration.

Included components:

• Voodoo Curv container
• Aerodyne Smart 150 reserve canopy
• AAD system
• Main risers
• Pilot chute
• D-bag

Furthermore, the rig provides a balanced combination of performance, comfort, and versatility. Whether used for regular recreational jumping, skill progression, or as a reliable backup setup, this configuration offers a strong foundation.

Condition Information and Inspection Notes

The rig has been carefully maintained and has been kept in excellent overall condition. No major damage, structural issues, or significant repairs have been reported. The equipment has been inspected with attention to the container, harness system, reserve components, and included accessories.

The rig is currently due for a repack, allowing the next owner to complete the inspection and packing process with their preferred professional rigger before returning it to active jumping.

This provides the buyer with the opportunity to establish their own maintenance record while ensuring the rig is prepared according to their local regulations and personal requirements.
